First workshop of the European project BLAZETEC on solid-state thermal batteries

The BLAZETEC project Consortium is organizing the workshop “From Heat to Power: Solid-State Thermal Breakthroughs”, that will take place on Tuesday, 11 November 2025, at 11:00 AM CET.
The event will be held online and streamed via the BLAZETEC’s social media channels (LinkedIn and YouTube).
Alessandro Bellucci will serve as moderator, and Daniele M. Trucchi will be featured as a speaker.

The event, open to everyone and with no registration required, will present the latest advancements of the project, focusing on solid-state thermal batteries — a breakthrough technology for the energy storage as heat and its efficient conversion into electrical power.
Speakers will include Daniele M. Trucchi (CNR, Project Coordinator), Alejandro Datas (UPM, WP1 & WP4 Leader), representatives from RGS and THERMOPHOTON, and Martin Schichtel from Kraftblock GmbH, Germany, world leader in Thermal energy storage systems, sharing insights and experiences  from the industrial and scientific point of view. The session will conclude with a roundtable and open Q&A.

The BLAZETEC project is funded by the European Union under the Horizon Europe Work Programme – Cluster 5, managed by CINEA (European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency) under Grant Agreement No. 101160724.
